This wonderful vintage platinum ring features a uniquely engraved and elegantly designed band. Its bold pattern is quite characteristic of the Art Deco movement of the 1920's-1934's era. The sides are simply detailed with a etched pattern in rich solid platinum. The sides are simply detailed with a deep relief pattern of long shaped floral links with striking millgrain throughout the edges. This geometric design is continued around the entire ring. The the width of the band measures 2.5 MM and is stamped "A, PLAT" for platinum of the period. After the letter A is a five pointed star, a hallmark for the maker's Allsop Brothers. The weight is 3.3 grams.
