This wonderful antique 10 karat rose gold ring features a slim, wide, cigar style band. Its ornate design is quite characteristic of the late Aesthetic movement of the Victorian and Edwardian eras. The sides are simply detailed with a deep relief pattern of a delicate open blossoms and leaves; a classic design motif used in the late Victorian period of 1890-1910. The design is continued around the ring with a slight seam to the pattern. The hight of the band measures 7 mm. Often wide bands such as this, fit slightly smaller- up to a 1/2 or 1/4 size. There is a 10k gold stamp and maker's hallmark of K&Co. The ring has retained its original rich rose gold patina. It does show some light wear to the gold with surface scratches and is not perfectly round. The total weight of the ring is 2.2 grams.
