Solid 14 Karat Yellow Gold
This stunning ring hails from the height of the Victorian period, 1870's-1880's. Cast in 14 karat yellow gold, twin emerald cut amethyst gemstones are featured in a beautiful geometric design with a bright array of natural seed pearls that flank the center. These amazingly richly hued stones have layers of depth and fire, a wonderful example of AAA grade amethyst. There is the original partial inscription that reads a series of initials to another set of initials, along side the partial date of, 31st 83', for the year 1883. The face of the ring measures 9 mm from North to South and 12.7 mm from East to West. The total weight is 4.1 grams.
