Solid 14 Karat White and Yellow Gold
This outstanding Retro 14 karat gold ring features a flashy, natural warm orange and pink hued opal center stone and a halo of ten beautifully bright diamonds. A truly fantastic piece from the early modernist movement of the 1940's -1960's. Its ornate and detailed face is set with a very elegant 10mm by 8.8mm, white opal cabochon. All of the diamonds have amazing fire and clean sparkle. Each measures an average of 2-2.3 mm. The face of the ring measures 15mm from North to South and the rise off the finger measures 7mm. The diamonds are bezel set in white gold and the base of the mount and band are cast in yellow gold. The opal shows very light scratches to the surface. There is a 14K stamp. The total weight of the ring is 5.2 grams.
