Solid Platinum, Natural Diamonds
This beautiful transitional cut diamond wedding set hails from the Art Deco era, 1920's-1930's. This outstanding center diamond measures 0.25 carats, 4 mm, with VVS clarity and F color. It is flanked by two smaller single cut diamonds accents on each shoulder, The four round single cut diamonds in measure an average of 1.7 mm and 1.5 mm, with VS clarity and are colorless. These lovely stones shimmer with fire and brilliance, and are wonderfully bright diamonds! The face measures 6.2 mm from north to south. The rise of the finger measures 6 mm. The weight is 2.4 grams. The base of the band measures 1.1 mm tall and 1.6 mm wide. The platinum shows average wear for its age and there is thinning to the band and missing details to the engraving. Inside the band is the engraved number, 23. There is no gold stamp but the metal tests as platinum.
The square edged wedding band features a simply engraved and delicate design. The width of the wedding band measures 1.8 mm tall and is stamped "S.H. PLATINUM" with a weight of 3 grams. It's an elegantly embellished, comfortable, and versatile ring set.
