Solid 10 Karat Yellow Gold
This fantastic Retro 10 karat gold ring features a flashy, fancy orange synthetic sapphire gemstone. It is cast with charming simplicity, highlighting just the right amount of detail to the mounting. A truly bold piece from the late Mid Century eras of the, 1940's-1960’s. Its beautiful face is set with a very elegant and fiery bright golden orange sapphire, measuring 13mm across. This gemstone is held in place by bold prongs and is set in a wonderful modern open mount design. The rise off the finger measures 7mm. Hallmarks inside the band read 10k and the gold acid tests as 10 karat. The surface of the gemstone shows very light nicks under magnification. The setting and band are in wonderful condition. There is a rattle to the stone but it is still secure in the setting. The total weight of the ring is 5 grams.
