Solid 10 Karat Yellow and White Gold
This dainty late Art Deco 10 karat gold ring features a single, dark brown and fire-filled blue opal gemstone. It is hand cast with striking details throughout- a truly fantastic piece from the late 1940’s Art Deco period. Its elegant and beautiful face is set with a single, solid opal cabochon. The colors move from a neon green-blue to a dark black-brown and teal. This sweet gem is held in place by a unique flower shaped mounting in white and yellow gold. The inside band has a makers mark of 10k.5, The stone is in wonderful condition and shows no cracks or surface chips. The stone measures 6.7 mm across and the rise off the finger measures 7.3 mm. The base of the band measures 1.5 mm wide. The face of the ring measures 12 mm from North to South. The band and setting are light weight and weigh a total of 2 grams.
