This lovely Retro, 14 karat yellow gold ring features a chrysoprase center stone. A truly fantastic piece from the late 1940's-1950's. This large gem is held in place by a uniquely crafted and delicate floral mounting. Lovely and clean geometric details curve along the shoulders. The green onyx cabochon measures 8.6mm across and 11.3mm from North to South. The inside of the band is stamped "MG 585 14k" and looks to be British or European made. The condition of this lovely ring shows light wear to the stone and gold. The stone is secure in the setting for years of future use. The gold has been cleaned to a bright shine. The total weight of the ring is 4.1 grams.
