Rubies
This striking ruby ring holds true to the timeless and modern designs of the late Art Deco period and was crafted in the late 1930's- 1940's. The lines of this stunning piece are contemporary and bold, with just the right detail to catch your eye. Rich rose and white gold highlights a striking pattern of table cut diamonds and 3mm emerald cut rubies. The ruby gemstones are likely synthetic, as was popular at the time. This is a very well crafted piece and is perfect for everyday use. The band shows maker's hallmarks for Lisbon, Portugal as well as a gold stamp for 18 karat, although the gold tests slightly lower than 18 karat and would be closer to 16 karat gold. This ring has a nice weight for its size, 5.9 grams. The face measures 11.7mm from North to South and 21mm from East to West.
This ring measures a US ring size 6 1/4
