This charming oval box features a classic design from the 1940's-1930's. Made from solid sterling silver, its flowing and ornate design highlights a richly detailed cherubs and curling scrolls. The center features the initials AEM. It's a fantastic design that balances a flash of drama with late Art Deco era delicacy. The box measures 1 inch wide by 3.4 inches long. The condition is fantastic with no bending or deep gouges and has been newly polished to a bright shine. A true treasure for Art Deco silver collectors! There is the hallmark stamp on the reverse for Dominick and Haff, and is marked for solid sterling silver of the period. The total weight is 41.5 grams.
