This sweet antique 14 karat gold ring features a series of twin flashy, bright opal stones. It is hand cast with dainty and delicate details throughout, a truly fantastic piece from the 1910-1930's! Its beautiful face is set with two, oval solid opal cabochons. The opals color ranges from orange, electric blue to blush pink and sparkling green. These fiery gems are held in place by uniquely set claw prongs; a classic Late Victorian design element. The prongs and band are in great condition and show light wear. There is also light surface wear to the tops of the opals. Each opal measures 6.5 by 5mm across and the ring's face measures 11.6mm from North to South. The rise off the finger measures 6mm. Weight is 3.3 grams. There is no visible maker's hallmark left and no gold stamp but the gold acid tests as 14 karat.
