This amazing antique 14 karat, rose gold ring features a natural red coral gemstone. It is hand cast with a charming simplicity, a fantastic piece of history dating back to the late Victorian and Edwardian era of, 1880-1900. Its beautiful face is set with a single, natural coral cabochon that shows a a bit of surface wear. It is held in place by uniquely shaped bezel mounting. The gold shows light wear to the surface. There is a slight separation of the solder seam at the base and is shown in the photos. The band has no gold stamp and has been acid tested as 14 karat. The face of the ring measures 8.6 mm by 17.3 mm with a rise off the finger of 4.5 mm. The base of the band measures 2.2 mm tall and the total weight of the ring is 2.9 grams.
